Root Beer World (aka Root-Beer.org) started on Feb 2, 2000, to provide information about "All Things Root Beer," including information and pictures on 50 brands in the Yellow Froth Pages (root beer brand directory).  Within 6 months, the brand database grew to over 500 brands, and over 2000 in just over 2 years, when the site was updated to its current design.
