squeeze root beer

I found a bottle cap in an old shed. The cap has a cork liner and I know cork hasn't been used in a long time. Can anyone give me an idea how old it might be?

Cork liners were phased out in the early sixties, so it's at least that old.

If the logo looks like the one on this site, I'd guess it's from the 1970s.
