I have been looking for some nice big and thick beer/root beer mugs. My searching has so far been fruitless. I am wondering if any of you might know of any great places that would have such a wonderful mug to be had? If possible, perhaps a mug that could hold 16oz of delicious cold root brew.

There are usually plenty on eBay. Occasionally (usually for a special occasion) the A&W Root Beer chain (separate from A&W beverages) has mugs in their restaurants (but sometimes they're plastic).

Oh yeah that's right. I think the A&W restaurants we have around here do in fact use the glass mugs chilled. If I recall you can purchase them. Maybe I can see if they can be purchased from an A&W website. Thanks for reminding me that A&W is not extinct...lol
