Can anyone tell me the history of Cre-Mel Root Beer? I collect old advertising signs and bought a large Cre-Mel sign. I believe it is from the 50s but can't find much online. Just wondered if anyone knew the story. I believe it was sold in Texas.
I wish I knew more about this. Please send a photo of your site so we can post it here! Maybe that will help trigger others to provide info. _________________ Bottoms up!

So heres a tribute toast with root beer in hand to you and the many mugs of suds along your happy trails. --Charles Wysocki, artist and root beer fan, 1928-2002
Cre-mel was a root beer company based in Dallas in the 1950s-60s. I actually have an old stock certificate from a family member that was issued. My understanding is they were bought out by Southland (7-11) in the late 60s. I'm interested in collecting old Cre-Mel items, but can't find much.
