Hires Root Beer Mugs.

Hey everybody!

I just bought these four Hires Root Beer mugs of a co-worker and would like some information on them. How old, are they common or rare and is it a collectibles item?

I've had some views but no responses. I am sure somebody can suggest a website or place to contact where I can get some information on the mugs.
Would anybody know?

They appear to be in excellent shape - but also reproductions. The art isn't that great, compared to the originals. Are they plastic? What does the bottom look like?
