Jon Onufrock contributed photos and information for Tease, Broadcast and Cheeco and Black Granite.
Some time ago, Toby Singer submitted a picture that contained several brands starting with K that weren't in the database, including:
Kizz, K & B, and Kayo (new).
I also added another new brand from the Dave & Kathy Nader collection: Bud's Homemade. And a new picture for California (it was actually made in Chicago!), Epping's, Fastco, Massey's, Royal Family, Seymour,
and Winner.
Finally, some new brands: Key (PA), Long's, London Dry (DE)
Some of the pictures are small - but small is better than nothing! _________________ Bottoms up!

Did you ever get the pics I had sent of the rootbeers that I had found? They would have been sent about a year or so ago, and I didn't see them listed in the brands database. I can send the pics again if you'd like.

I found a couple of emails from August 2005, that had these brands:
Abita (we have a stylized photo)
Baumeister (could replace the photo we have)
Berghoff (better than the tiny photo we have)
Bighorn (have the logo, but your picture shows the bottle, which is better)
Blumers (we have a picture of this bottle, plus another version)
Briar's (I like your photo with different bottle versions, may add it to the existing photo)
Clewes - need more info on this - it's looks like the brand has a different name, but Clewes might be the company (Clewes Castle Brewery?)
Cott (may add your modern version to the existing)
Faygo (may add your modern version to the existing)
Fitz's (may add your photo to the current logo)
Frostie (may add your photo to the current label photo)
Journey (Journey's made several versions of root beer and sassafras - which is this?
Kangaroo Jack - any additional info on this? Company? Location?
Milly's - I think I can find additional info on this
Quechee Gorge Village - any additional info on this?
Sexkola - are you KIDDING? This one is great! PLEASE provide more details about this!
I'll start adding the new ones tomorrow (happy new year!) and apologize for the long delay! |

Kangaroo Jack is made in South Carolina, I got my bottles from the place whoever posted about it already got thiers.
I'll send a picture of the bottle and company details later.
I also have some pics of Tom Wahl's and Mac's in upstate NY and there is also a brand called Windy City out of Chicago I haven't seen around here yet I'll send. |

No worries, my collection spent a bit of time boxed up with a move. Its out on display again now so I can get to them easily (just passed the 150 bottle mark!). I just have to remember which ones to take notes on. I also have a digital camera, so I can take better pictures if need be.
The Sexkola - I remember I got it at a truck stop in Rhode Island, and I've never tried it. Its supposed to be sugar free, caffeine free, and something else - anyway, I've been a bit scared of it assuming that it would be taste-free as well.

With some additional updates from Anthony (http://rootbeerbarrel.com), we are over 2450 brands. I think we can hit 2500 this year - keep 'em coming! |

Surprisingly, Jones isn't in the list. They're probably better known for their other soda flavors, but they make a pretty decent root beer (it's just more difficult to find).

Holy brown cow! With so many updates from Anthony I lost count - we are now just below 2500 brands!
Thanks, Anthony! |
