not to be picky or anything, but is it possible to somehow distinguish the currently (or probably currently) brewed root beers from the retired brands? i ask because whenever i travel somewhere new, i try to look at the listing for that state which can take a lot of time and it would be nice to know more quickly which ones might still exist.
if not, no big deal.

I agree, I use the database for the same purpose. Even if the currently in production ones are just colored or italicized or something--that would be great.
