Hello, I'm new to this forum and hope to get some sound advice.

I have made small simple batches of root beer in the past with just extract sugar and water. A very failed attempt at anything with root beer quality!

I have also brewed beer in the beer machine in the past and as many others it is on a shelf in basement collecting dust.

My hope is to get it back out and clean it up to use to force carbonate a good quality batch of root beer that I can enjoy.

I Have some of the basic ingredients and would like advice on a good recipe that would produce 2.5 gals that I could put into the Beer Machine and use it to carbonate my root beer as I enjoy it and possible bottle some.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
