It's a product of the yeast and happens normally. Other than giving a yeasty taste, there's nothing wrong with drinking it.

Sounds like a good recipe. Please, give the details.

Incidentally, sediment sometimes occurs in regular beer. When I visited my German relatives in 1956, they had beer periodically delivered to their home from a local brewery the way milk was delivered in the USA (When there were "Milk Men."). This beer came in returnable glass bottles with mechanical stoppers. Anyway, this beer always had a lot of sediment.
