I would appreciate the names and addresses of stores that sell soda cheap (e.g., $1/2 liter bottle) in Dupage County, Illinois, preferably close to the Cook County border and Cermak Rd..

I am asking because I live in Cook County, where there is a $0.01/oz. tax on soda. FYI, see http://stopthecookcountytax.com/content.aspx?page=about . And, I am being annoyed by frequent TV advertisements for this tax paid for by Michael R. Bloomberg (the previous mayor of New York City). Amazingly, people in surrounding counties have to listen to these ads too.

Circumvention is the key to avoiding an unfair tax, old friend?

Yes, but the tax was repealed and will be void starting 12/1/17, too late for Thanksgiving. Meanwhile, I bought a Brita water filter. Imagine what would have happened if Flint Michigan had a $0.01/oz. sweetened beverage tax. And, a tax on diet soda would shorten the lives of preexisting diabetics.
