basic modern root beer recipe .you will need to start.
a clean 20 oz bottle to put everything in and mix it.

6 drops loranns sassafrass oil

1-2 drops loranns anise oil

3-4 drops loranns cinnamon oil

30- 40 drops of alcohol or enouph other emulsifyer (you must have a emulsifer)

11/2 tea caramel (burnt sugar i found it in an oriental store for flavor and color)

11/2 tea molasses

50 drops each herble extract found at health food stores brand is natures anwer liqourice root, juniper berry, eclectic institute sarsaparilla oil
(i would use natures answer at 25-30 drops but i am out and havent experimented with it in this recipe. n/a taste better too.)

3 table watkins double strength vinilla
4 oz hot water
put all this in the 20 oz bottle shake it for awhile to emulsifi.

i use a 1 gallon glass jug. add11/4- 11/2 cups sugar, contents of 20 oz pluss rinse it.fill jug 1/3 with water shake the heck out of it repeat till youre up to the neck.

you can taste now. but not finished.(its drinkable but flavors have to blend)
you want a weak flavor not to strong the carbonation boost the flavor.
you want this to sit in fridge at least a week, longer the better.then carbonate.

trouble shooting : if to sweet take 20 oz out put 20 oz water in shake wait a day.
if you want more flavor add no more then 1 drop(with emulsifer of anise for liqourice flavor, cinnamon for a bite, sassafras for minty flavor, 5-10 drops sarsasparilla to smooth it out.

if you have strong after taste add more emulsifer.

if you like foam add 2-3 table spoons honey(takes a lot of shaking to desolve. after adding anything wait a day or 2 to taste.

more tips pm. me
